Bad Leader

Alright, time to get up. Let's see what I missed overnight. Oh, here's a message from my team member from our group project. Let's see what they said!

"CBar,

We regret to inform you that we have taken a vote. The majority ruled to remove you from our group, seeing as we have not heard from you for the past week. We've been attempting to reach you, all to no avail. We understand this will result in a failing grade for your project, but due to your incompetence in leading this group, we cannot let this go on any longer. We'll see you in class on Monday, enjoy your weekend.

Uhh, what just happened? When did they send messages earlier? Why did they expect a response? It's spring break! They're right too. I'll fail the project, which means I'll fail the class. I'm going to have to retake this course, aren't I? I didn't even ask to be leader, they just put me in that position. And now they're going to say I messed up when I didn't even want this? This is absolutely ridiculous. I've got to refute it...

I am so sorry, this was all a misunderstanding. I didn't receive any messages from you all, and I wasn't expecting any either. I've been working in my job due to spring break and I haven't even been thinking about school. Please, give me a second chance if you're willing. I really need this.

Okay, here it is. Let's see what they said.

"CBar,

Unfortunately, we've already notified the professor and they've approved our proposal. You probably should have paid more attention this week, it may have cost you this entire class. Hopefully this will be an experience that you can learn from in future courses. This will conclude our correspondences as we will have to focus on finishing the project you failed to maintain. Please refrain from responding to this thread in the future.

Wow, that seemed a little snarky, didn't it? This is awful, what am I going to do? I was supposed to graduate this year, but now I'll have to retake this entire course!

Before the panic was able to set in, I woke up. Immediately I went to check my phone, and lo and behold, there was a message from my group. I winced as I opened it, but to my relief, it was simply a message wishing everyone a happy spring break. I chuckled to myself and laid back down to get more sleep. 


I hope you all enjoyed this dream I had recently, it sure was a roller coaster for me. I look forward to hearing your comments on it!

Unexpected Visitor

The first thing I remember was awakening from my slumber. I was in my small red recliner, right next to my grandfather's big blue one. I see the TV has a movie on, one I don't remember starting. I must have dozed off while it played. But wait, where's Grampa? Why are all the lights off? What is happening right now? Alright, I've been prepared for this, I can handle it. Prehistoric Wonderland

Wow, could this be? How could I have slept through this? There's a Triceratops, a Stegosaurus, and a Brachiosaurus! It's a good thing they're all herbivores, otherwise I'd be lunch! I've gotta see more... Huh, I don't remember my house being this big. Even the Brachiosaurus can stand straight up. Ha, the Triceratops is letting me pet it, how funny.  Oh. My. Goodness... They're everywhere! How did I get so lucky? I've always wanted to meet dinosaurs, and now they're here! I began to frolic in my recently sizable house. I fed the dinosaurs, hugged them, and even slid down the Brachiosaurus' neck like a slide! If you can't tell by now, that one was my favorite. I named him Edgar, even though I don't know if it was a boy or girl.
